PARCC’s licensing model provides access to engaging and challenging assessment content in English language arts/literacy and mathematics. Content is aligned to the standards states use to measure the competencies that genuinely matter for success in college and career. This new licensing model enables states to use the test design and administration vendor of their choice, while maintaining the opportunity to compare student performance and growth with other states.
